Our company was born when our founder, a public health professional, saw the need to provide people with an environmentally-friendly alternative to the traditional surgical masks and similar disposable products. We wanted to offer options to people who needed to use masks in the conditions deemed appropriate, such as exposure to poor air quality, harmful particulate matter, pollution, smog, dust, fire, smoke, odors, allergens, microbes, viruses, and environmental hazards. We wanted to offer users products that are non-irritating to the skin and comfortable to wear. We also saw a need to offer personal protective gear that looked as good as they felt to wear. Most importantly, we wanted to provide environmentally-friendly options that were reusable, washable, and affordable over the long-term.
